When things don't go as planned & how it relates to decluttering

I'm not going to lie. March kicked me in the butt - at least it did in terms of my planned schedule.

You see, on Mondays, I normally blog and go live. Then on Tuesdays, I send out my newsletter (it's what's on the blog) and post what I wrote in my blog on Instagram. Then Wednesdays are for my podcast. That's how it was at least until mid-February when I got completely overwhelmed with a project (it's still not finished) and wasn't able to stick to my routine/schedule. I still did all of it, just not as planned and not as perfectly as I would have liked.

So, why am I telling you this? Well, because even though things didn't go as planned or perfectly - I decided to do it anyway. I decided it was more important to put progress over perfection and that is something that relates well to all areas in our lives including clearing away the clutter.

You don't have to clear everything away perfectly. You don't have to get it all done at once. You might not make the best decisions. You might drive around town with all of the donations in your trunk for over a month before you get to drop them off at the charity.

And you know what? That's OKAY. It's enough. You are enough.

Progress over perfection.

In this week's podcast, I talk about this some more and another lesson from this week and how that relates to decluttering. You can listen to it here:

Hope this helps you on your decluttering journey.
